Three years ago, Atlantic Fiber Resources Ltd., along with Great Western Forestry, became part of the 100% Atlantic-owned Canadian Northern Timber (CNT). Using the expertise and experience in the biomass industry of its sister company, Great Western Forestry, Atlantic Fiber Resources was formed as an initiative to find new opportunities in Atlantic Canada.

The relationships built in the bio-energy industry between Great Western Forestry and the European market will help accelerate the Atlantic Fiber Innu Ltd. partnership’s growth as it becomes a major force in the wood pellet industry in Atlantic Canada.
